In short
Onde has no account, no advertising and no advertising tracker. Your sources and passwords stay on your device.
What stays on your device
Your sources (address, username, password), library, history, favourites and settings are stored on the device; credentials are kept in the system’s secure storage. Requests to your source go directly between your device and your provider.
What is sent to Onde’s servers
Onde uses an online service hosted by Cloudflare. Depending on the features you use, it receives:
- News, events, markets and scores: your region’s edition and, if you allow it, a position rounded to 0.1° (about 10 km) to find events near you. Like any online service, it sees your IP address, used to answer and to limit abuse.
- AI features (suggestions, search by meaning, headline translation): the phrase you type and at most 12 catalogue titles with their genres and a short plot. Never an address, username, e-mail or password, and never content filed as “adult”.
- Predictions: a random player ID, the nickname you choose, your predictions and the room code. “Delete my data” erases all of it. Rooms expire after 30 days.
- Sync between your devices, if you use it: data is encrypted on your device before it is sent; Onde cannot read it.
Processors and retention
Cloudflare processes this data on Onde’s behalf. Usage counters are used only to limit abuse. No data is sold or used for advertising.
